What is TA Moto? Who is TA Moto? And what does the "TA" stand for? TA Moto was created by a few friends who share a passion for motorcycles. After one of our many discussions about bikes, gear, and our favorite rides, it occurred to us we collectively have decades of experience on two wheels - why not share that knowledge with our fellow riders? We don't claim to be the best of the best or the hardest of core, we're just a few average Joe's who ride when we can and obsess about it when we don't. TA Moto is meant for all riders, so whether you're a novice or an Iron Butt professional, come on in, take a look around, and let us know what you think.
Hopefully, you'll leave with some new ideas in your head or at least a smile on your face!
And by the way, " TA " stands for Tim & Andrew!

Favorite "Motorcycle" Moment:
Every moment on two wheels is my favorite moment. But to narrow it down, it would have to be the day I picked up my first real motorcycle. I was about 16 and I had previously only ridden dirtbikes and mopeds, etc.. As you can probably guess, riding a street bike is quite a bit different that what I had previously been on. I went and picked up my motorcycle with the idea that I would head directly home to vast in my new purchase (and probably clean it), but I actually ended up riding over 250 miles that day. I didn't want to go home.
From that moment on, I knew that motorcycles would always be a big part of my life.

Favorite "Cycle" Moment:
I've had a lot of great moments on motorcycles, but I have to say my first trip to the Maxton Mile would be at the top. It was an epic trip taken with a good friend on our vintage bikes - mine a '76 CB750 and his a '76 R90S. We completely underestimated how long it would take to get there and ran into a host of problems along the way, but we made it to the track in time to race our bikes and then head for home.
It was my first real "touring" trip, and I was hooked.

I have a favorite 'Cycle' moment often. They are usually different in their own way. The ability to have quiet intensity with extreme visual stimulus can't be reached on very many things. Especially something that only you control.

That time we attacked the gasoline refinery in the outback. Man, I thought we were gonna win but we just ended up with a load of sand.
